Tinashe teams up with VSCO and Micaiah Carter for new Pasadena video

Summer is finally here and we’re ready to kick it off with a new song and collaboration with Billboard chart-topping singer songwriter, Tinashe, and contemporary photographer/director and See In Black cofounder, Micaiah Carter. For the first time ever, VSCO’s color science lab teamed up with Tinashe and Micaiah Carter on the music video for Tinashe’s latest single, Pasadena using VSCO’s VHS video effect and KP3 & IND2 filters. Later this month, you’ll be able to apply the same look from the video to your own images and videos, using VSCO.
The music video, directed by Micaiah Carter, was edited using VSCO’s VHS video effect and KP3 and IND2 filters. Take a look at some behind the scenes content of the video coming together:

Inspired by what Micaiah and Tinashe created with Pasadena? Today, VSCO launched the latest creative challenge where you can create and share your own images and videos inspired by the Pasadena video. Create and share images using #VSCOPasadena now in the VSCO app.
As a part of the release of Pasadena, you’ll also get access to behind-the-scenes commentary and a look into how Micaiah shot and edited the music video.
Try Micaiah’s VSCO Recipe (something a little extra for members)
Later this month, paying members will be able to access Micaiah’s VSCO Recipe to add to your own summer content in the exact style of Pasadena.
